Bill Shea

Bill Shea is a Freelance Producer, Creative Director and Artist who specializes in making videos and Public Service Announcements for Non-Profit organizations. Prior to embarking on his own, Bill was a Madison Avenue executive who spent most of his twenty- five year career at McCann Erickson, one of the worlds leading advertising agencies.

As a Senior Group Creative Director, Bill help create award winning ad campaigns for blue chip clients including Coca-Cola, Lowes Home Improvement Stores, Watermen Pens, and Johnson & Johnson. His two most successful ad campaigns were Major League Baseballs “I Live for This” and the “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter” (Fabio) commercials.

In 2005, Bill left the world of advertising and joined Bob and Suzanne Wright at their startup non-profit Autism Speaks.  Bill spent the next eight years as the Autism Speaks Creative Director and helped turn it into the worlds leading non-profit autism advocacy and research agency. There Bill’s main focus was The Ad Council account. Upon Bill’s departure, Autism Speaks was one of The Ad Councils top sponsors. Bill is very proud of the work he has accomplished at Autism Speaks.

Since opening Bsheacreative.com, Bill has produced videos for non-profits including the Autism Science Foundation, SPACE on Ryder Farm, The Ali Forney Center, Education Alliance, JDRF, The Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation, and Only Make Believe among others.

Bill currently lives in North Salem, New York with his husband Frank Selvaggi and their two dogs Sherlock, and Dodger. He is very excited and proud to be dancing for the Autism Science Foundation in the Dancing Stars of Westchester Charity Gala.
