Katie Benedict

Katie Benedict grew up on a farm in Indiana and has lived in Larchmont, NY, for over 20 years. Her family includes her husband Seth and their three sons, Nathan, Isaac, and Elijah — as well as two cats and a dog.  Her background is in business and economics, and she has been tutoring high-school math for the past 15 years.  Working with teenagers is very rewarding, and she absolutely loves her job. Education has always been one of her passions. In her free time, Katie enjoys tennis, paddle, travel and spending time with friends and family.   A fun fact about her is that she was formerly in the Peace Corps in Nicaragua.  That is where she found a love for Latin dance.
